In order to get from Albania to Italy, we had to take an overnight ferry from Durres to Bari... a deserted overnight ferry. It was spooky, but I was lucky to be able to take all of these pictures of the ferry at night with no body around.

the sea, the sea
On Wednesday night, my parents and I took of to Italy for an extra-long weekend trip.
Our ferry from Durres-Bari left at 11 pm, so we had a few hours in the evening to enjoy the sunset on the Albanian side of the Adriatic.
We had dinner right on the beach, where, as you can see, the light was stunning.
