This is a lol-worthy article from New Scientist: Mystery of the female orgasm deepens (pun intended?). Not so much the article itself but the fact that "(a)fter 40 years of debate evolutionary biologists are no closer to deciding whether it evolved to give women a reproductive boost, or whether it is simply a by-product of male orgasm evolution".
Forty years of fighting over women female's (lol) orgasms and whether they're because of baby-making or because of men? Yep, sounds about right.
In other news the sky is blue, ice cream is delicious and inter-species animal friendships are the greatest thing in the world.
Perhaps spending less time trying to go all Nancy Drew on the female orgasm and more time normalizing women's sex drives (low/high whatever) and, really, more time giving orgasms would be time better spent.
Oh, and my mission today is to work orgasmability into at least ten conversations.
