Grace Zabriski is Fucking Awesome or I've Started Rewatching 'Twin Peaks' by Alex Snider

As Sarah Palmer on Twin Peaks. She's a pro at freaking out.

With David Lynch
In other Lynch works: Wild at Heart
Inland Empire
And in the woefully under appreciated My Son, My Son What Have Ye Done

As Ma in Bastard Out of Carolina
Seinfeld (as Susan's mum)
Fern Gully (?)
And Chucky 2 (?!)
And of course most recently,  as the fierce Lois Henderson on Big Love
Hot damn, I love her face. I wish she was in everything.

  1. She was in Fern Gully?! Well that's it. Between her and Tone Lōc, I need to re-watch that movie.

  3. Yes she's fantastic. I've only just become conscious of her, after watching Inland Empire. Doesn't she do a marvellous job?! She is the 1st intrusion of the darker forces, the unconscious or the hidden, -into the perfectly nice and manicured surface world of Laura Dern's life. Ooh! She's so deliciously threatening of things to come. Things in the shadows that Laura Dern's character will be pulled into, or if said another way,- the dark side of Laura which will force it's way out and erupt in her pretty and controlled daylight side. Graves appearance is the harbinger of this. I want to watch the film again just to see get. And now I have had a look at the films you mention, I'd love to check her out there too. cheers

  5. Just a technical edit of the (above) comment by me. Where it reads: 'Grave', please replace that with: 'Grace'. And at the end of the next sentence, please replace 'get' with 'her'. Sorry- damned preemptive text on my phone!
